CLUSTER HEADACHE
Cluster headache (CVA) is an acute form of essential headache. It is a rare condition, extremely painful and debilitating for those who suffer from it. It manifests itself on one of the halves of the head. Americans cynically call it the Boss’ Headache. More dramatically, it is nicknamed “the suicidal headache”, so much the violence of the attacks and their frequency make life hellish for those who suffer from it, i.e. approximately 0.2% of the population.
A tension headache is the most common form of a primary headache, It happens in up to 80% of the population
Migraine is a fairly common condition that affects 15 to 20% of the population. In its most characteristic manifestation, which is observed in most cases, it takes the form of particularly sharp headaches.
It's been reported by The Neurological Foundation of NZ that 18% of women and 12% of men experience migraine headaches
